I've been setting up local bash and python scripts to do whatever frequent simple tasks I use the internet for, inspired by the OFFLFIRSOCH challenge. It's been very helpful and much faster than the web. Using a computer for what it's meant to do itself, rather than relying on external servers. Then I set up a dashboard script to list them all out for me in a handy menu, which pulls from a description I set at the top of each one so I remember later what it's for.
